There is a known Apple issue with the HD Driver on macOS Big Sur that is resolved in macOS Monterey.

Pro Tools is compatible with Monterey 12.6.2 as well. Īpple has reported that Monterey 12.5 is vulnerable to malicious attacks and recommends updating to Monterey 12.5.1/later. Pro Tools 2022.12 has been officially qualified with macOS Ventura 13.1.0. When using HD Native PCIe installed in a supported Thunderbolt 3 chassis and connected to a Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 port of a supported Mac, it is possible to encounter continuous AAE -9093 errors.
